July 5 - Saturday

12 pm ET,11am CT, 10am MT, 9am PT Review of the June Healthy Eating Session

July 17 - Thursday
 3pm ET, 2pm CT, 1pm MT, 12pm PT Healthy Eating Q&A  with Summer Lamons, RD, LD.
 
July 19 - Saturday
11am ET, 10am CT, 9am MT, 8am PT Presentation on Calcium and Vitamin D by Mike Lavacot.

July 23 - Wednesday
6:30pm ET, 5:30pm CT, 4:30pm MT, 3:30pm PT Exercise Session, Review presentation on Vitamin D and Calcium by Mike Lavacot afterwards.

June 28 - Saturday
11am ET, 10am CT, 9am MT, 8am PT Exercise Session

About Bone Buddies

The Bone Buddies virtual online support group is open-to-all and typically meets on the second Saturday of each month at 10:00am Central Time on Zoom. On the weeks when they don’t have the support group meeting, the group usually meets on all the other Saturdays at 10:00am Central Time on Zoom for free exercise sessions and/or presentations.

A healthy eating discussion also normally takes place every third Thursday at 2:00pm Central Time on Zoom. You can submit questions for a registered licensed dietitian, and she will then have an outline from the questions. She will also answer your questions when you attend the meeting. 

To recap, the monthly calendar generally includes:

  • 1st Saturday is exercise and review of last month's Healthy Eating session.

  • The next Wednesday is an exercise class.

  • The second Saturday is the monthly presentation.

  • The third Thursday is Healthy Eating session.

  • The third Saturday is exercise and review of presentation.

  • The third or fourth Wednesday is a review of the presentation.

  • The fourth Saturday is exercise and open forum/best practices.

Group meetings are a fun, relaxing way to learn new information about bone health and managing osteoporosis. It can also be a great way to meet others who are dealing with low bone density.
