Special Donation-Based Exercise Class: Strength Training for Those with Osteoporosis – Beginner Level (Live on Zoom)
This beginner-level class is part of a fundraiser supporting the Bone Health and Osteoporosis Foundation (BHOF). A suggested donation of $20 reserves your spot and helps advance education, awareness, and support for people living with osteoporosis.

Instructor: Carol Michaels, MBA, ACE, ACSM is an award-winning osteoporosis and cancer exercise specialist, nationally recognized presenter, author and consultant. This live class features exercises from her Osteoporosis Recovery Fitness® YouTube videos and DVDs.
Details: This class will teach you how to strengthen bones and muscles and improve posture and balance. You will learn the exercises that should be performed, the exercises that should be modified and the exercises that should be avoided. It is crucial to learn how to exercise properly because the wrong exercises or improper form can lead to injury.
What to Expect:
Obtain clearance from your healthcare provider before beginning any new exercise routine.
You will need hand weights, a mat, and a resistance band.
There will be time at the end of the class for questions.
You will receive a Zoom invite the evening prior to the class.
