BoneFit™ Spotlight: Annette Cashell, Movement Coach

Professional Impact
Although I originally trained as a STOTT Pilates teacher, I've constantly added to my training (fascial fitness, natural movement training, Buff Bones) and have evolved my teaching approach over the years. Being BoneFit™-trained has added another (excellent) tool to my toolkit and makes me feel so much better prepared to help midlife women who are increasingly interested in bone health care. The training provided by BoneFit was exceptional and I really value their ongoing education opportunities (webinars, newsletters with latest research). The fact that I have osteopenia myself means that I am particularly passionate about this area and it has now become my main focus of work, with my signature 9-week online program Strong Bones + More.
Personal Impact
What I love about being a BoneFit™-trained is the impact I have on the quality of life of women with osteoporosis/osteopenia. Seeing them move from a state of fear, confusion (and sometimes denial) to being able to live life fully again, do the things they love and actually thrive, never ceases to amaze me. I truly feel my work is life-changing and that's an incredibly joyful thing to experience!
Annette Cashell is a Holistic Movement Coach and Pilates instructor based in Malahide, Co. Dublin, Ireland. A former marketing manager in Germany and Silicon Valley, she discovered the impact of long hours of sitting on her own health after experiencing chronic pain, back issues, and bone loss. Drawing from personal experience and over 20 years of teaching, Annette helps women build bone health through natural movement and sustainable lifestyle changes. Her whole-body approach integrates Pilates and corrective exercise to restore strength, mobility, and vitality. Annette has been featured in Thrive Global, Brainz Magazine, and the Irish Examiner, and her story is highlighted in Katy Bowman’s book Grow Wild and the Amazon UK best-seller Handbags – Turning Hope into Happiness.
